Cartee Thanksgiving!

The night before Thanksgiving we drove to Leroy.

All the Cartee cousins came to Gue
and Pop's house for a sleepover!

Roman, Cooper, Reid and Ellis!

Roman loved actually having
 boys to play with!

Gue and the kids made a tent and told
 "spooky" stories in the living room!

They all camped out in sleeping bags!
Walker and Nixon

Roman gave Pop kisses before bedtime!

We woke up Thanksgiving morning for
our annual cousin
photo-shoot with shirts Gue made.
(pictures will be posted on
 another post, there are too many!)

The kids watched a bit of the Macy's Day parade.

Nixon giggled as she watched
Isla pretend to be a Rockette!
(I was too busy video taping her to get pics)

Everyone played and visited
until lunch was ready!

Isla and MawMaw

Roman discovered Gue and Pop's piano!

We love the turkey dresses Gue made the girls!

Ellis enjoyed playing with the
gumdrop turkeys the girls made!

The kids ready for lunch!

The kids enjoyed Thanksgiving lunch!

Jared tried taking his annual
Thanksgiving afternoon nap.
Needless to say it did not last long!

We all went outside and played visited for the afternoon!

Jared and Roman

Roman played a little basketball.

The big boys played football.

The kids rode Tucker's tractor!

While Roman and Isla rode
around with Pop on his!

Poor Roman struggled to
stay awake (he finally gave it up).

 Isla thought would be fun to play Duck Duck
Goose with Gue, Maw Maw, GaGa, and Jared!

Reid joined in!

We had a wonderful Cartee Thanksgiving.
We are so blessed to be able
 to spend time with our family.

I am especially grateful as I watch my children
make special memories
with their grandparents and cousins!

I am reminded of Psalms 100

A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
 1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
 2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
   come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
   It is he who made us, and we are his[a];
   we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
   and his courts with praise;
   give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
   his faithfulness continues through all generations.
