Isla Turned 4 Today!!!!

I can't believe my baby
 girl turned 4 today!

Nixon is my oldest so when she has a
birthday I feel it is natural
 she is another year older.

But Isla?
It just doesn't seem right
saying she's 4 years old!

It seems like yesterday
Jared was going 90 mph
up 231 rushing me to the hospital,
praying I would make
it for the epideral.
(thankfully I did)

We had a very special day!
Isla was so happy her cousins
Ella, Sara, and John Robert
were here to celebrate!

Last night Isla made sure to
remind me that she needed
birthday muffins when she woke
up! Thanks to Jared for baking these!

We sang "Happy Birthday"
to the birthday girl!

After we got dressed we
opened up presents!

Ella, Sara, and John Robert gave her
a bag full of goodies including
makeup, a hello kitty brush, and notepad!

Roman gave her a
slip and slide.

I think Nixon likes
the puppy and purse she
gave her more than Isla does!

Jared and I went against everything
we believe in and bought her
an ipod touch. :)

She is obsessed with my
 iphone so hopefully
this will keep her off my phone.

She thinks it's a phone
so she loves it!
She mainly likes it b/c of
the camera.

We HAVE to get her
to undertand she
can't take pictures of
her daddy (or anyone
else for that matter)
when he is in the shower! :)

I downloaded her the
soundtrack to Snow White
and she has listened to it all
day!

We figured out she can also Facetime
all our family!
(she's more high tech than her mommy!)

After we were done opening gifts the
girls went to preschool.

This is the birthday girl
and her teacher Mrs. Michelle.
(she asked me NOT to call
her Isla today but
"the birthday girl")

The class sang "Happy Birthday"
and she blew out her 2nd set of candles!

She chose bubbles out of the cake!

We had purple cupcakes for
the entire class!
(she requested purple)

Her cousins joined the class for cupcakes!

So did our sweet neighbor Hadley!

John Robert and Roman
really liked the cupcakes!

Nixon walked over from her class to
help celebrate!

Lottie and Jared didn't get
to enjoy a cupcake but they still
partied!

I don't think anyone liked the cupcakes
as much as Sara did!

After we got all cleaned up
we went to the church
nursery to play.
(it was raining so we could not go outside)

They had a good time
with their babies!

We ended the afternoon at
Monkey Joe's for
pizza and fun!

Roman LOVES
Monkey Joe's!
(I must add he had on an
adorable smocked jonjon
and he insisted on wearing the camo
pants and Bama jersey!)

John Robert was unsure at 1st
but Uncle Jared taught
him how to slide!!

Lottie had a good time
strolling around!

The Birthday Girl and Sara
had a blast!

Hadley had fun too!

We ate pizza!

Hadley ate alot! :)

Lottie didn't get pizza.

Libby joined us,

and Jordan!

Daddy and Mommy
with the Birthday Girl!

We had a wonderful day celebrating
4 amazing years with Isla.
(just to clarify, her name is pronounced
"eye-lah" NOT "is-lah")

I have a week to finish planning
her Snow White party.
She has many specific requests!

I know she is going to love it!
(and I love to plan a party)
