Christmas with the Cartees

We were happy that the Cartee family 

were able to all be together in

Tuscaloosa to celebrate Christmas last week. 

As I was downloading the 

pictures from the day I 

was excited to see we got 1 

family picture from 

the Christmas season.

I soon remembered taking a family picture 

at that same spot 5 years ago!

2006

WOW~ Who would have thought our little 

family of 3 would double in 5 short years?!

We had a wonderful day 

spending time with family!

Roman always loves going to Reid and Ellis's

 house and having boys and boy toys to play with!

Jared wrestled with Reid for a while. 

The girls had a great time playing 

with Walker and Reid.

We opened up gifts.

The kids(and Gue) pretended

 to go to sleep so they 

could wake up and open the

 gifts like Christmas morning!

Maw-Maw bought Lottie her 1st bible. 

The girls helped Maw-Maw open her gift.

They also helped Gue...

and Pop.

Pop was so surprised and excited 

about his golf gloves from the girls!

(we get him the same gift every year) 

  

It is such a blessing when 

everyone is able to get together

 at the same time. I am very happy 

it worked out even if it was only for the day. 

I remembered I had the 

picture below of Maw-Maw,

 Gue, Jared, and Nixon. 

So we tried to recreate it with Lottie!

Hopefully in 2016 we will be able

 to recreate these pictures again! 

(but not by doubling our family size!)
