Bama Friends!

While visiting my parents
we had a fun day at Camp Gran with
a few of our Bama friends!

Don't ask me where Camp Gran is?
I was told it was in Eutaw, AL
but we drove a long
way after we passed the
sign for Eutaw.

The kids loved the dirt roads!
I told them we were deep
down in the country and
Nixon said,
"You mean there
is a Queen and King here?" haha!

I do know we were
on a river somewhere in Alabama!
Justin was so sweet to
host us! The kids loved it!

The kids had a blast swimming
and playing together!

Aubrey and Lottie

Isla & Tessa

Sarah and Aubrey

We ate lunch!

And cupcakes!

Justin even had a pinata
for the kids
and it wasn't even a birthday party!

Brynn taking a swing.

Clothing was optional.

Ryder

Aubrey

Jackson finished
it off for the little kids!

CANDY!

We had a fun time
hanging out!

Ryder & Griffin

We tried getting a group
picture of all the kids...

But it was hard!

As we were getting ready to
leave the girls discovered the
tire swing.

The kids had a fun time
playing with their Alabama friends.
I had a wonderful time hanging out
with my Alabama friends too! :)
Looking forward to our next visit
to Camp Gran!

Say Ye-ye-ye-ye-yes to Vuh-vuh-vuh-VBS!

We traveled to Northport so that the kids
could go to Preacher's VBS.
We had to miss our church's because it was the
same week as our family beach
vacation.

Nixon's favorite part of Vacation
Bible School was the singing!

She was also excited she got
to take up the offering one day!

Roman said he liked
Water Day the best!

Isla enjoyed VBS and Water Day
but she definitely would
say that her favorite part
was making new friends!

Mrs. Justin was so sweet
and went down the slides with her!

Nixon enjoyed Water Day with
her friends too!

I'm not sure if Lottie enjoyed
Water Day?!?

We ended the week with
a carnival and Family Night!

The kids got to sing on stage!

They loved the
carnival rides!

Roman even got
Preacher on a spinning ride!
I think we had more fun watching than
he had riding!

No carnival is complete
without cotton candy!

We have quoted the VBS
bible verse on multiple occasions
this summer. Nixon has a new
fear of elevators and it's my go-to verse
to get her to calm down. :)

For God has not given us a
spirit of fearfulness,
but one of power, love, and
sound judgment.
2 Timothy 1:7

Everyone had a wonderful
time at VBS. We are so
very thankful we have
such a wonderful church
to call home no matter
where we live!
